The Shed and camping units Le Corbusier

Modest building of its size (3.66 x 3.66 m), but generous by his architectural proportions and plastic, Le Corbusier called the wood shed his "castle on the French Riviera." Built in 1952 on a steep terrain of Cap Martin, the minimum habitat prototype demonstrates his work on the modular home.
In 1957, Le Corbusier created on the neighboring plot, five camping units whose construction reflects some principles of the Shed.
Properties Conservatoire du Littoral since 1979, the Shed is now part of the entire site including the Villa E1027, the Shed and camping units of Le Corbusier and the Starfish whose management is entrusted to the association "Modern Cap ".
